Chain of Silence Soul

Subin Bista1 min read0 views

You see a smile—crafted well,

But deep inside, a storm does dwell.

Cold on the surface, warm beneath,

A buried child, too shy to breathe.

Love I never dared to taste,

In shadows now, it hides in haste.

The world, a stage where masks are worn,

Where dreams are crushed and hearts are torn.

Each day I run—no finish line,

A race for goals that aren't mine.

A future vague, a restless chase,

I lose myself in life's fast pace.

Loneliness, my silent guest,

A constant ache within my chest.

The ups, the downs—I bear them all,

Chained to a world where dreams grow small.

I've learned to hide what makes me,

To mask the flaws no one should see.

But I am tired—so deeply tired,

Of chasing fires that aren't desired.

Once I let go—it brought me shame,

Yet somehow, I felt light again.

The fear dissolved, though guilt remained,

A fleeting peace from years of pain.

So if I stumble, cry, or break,

Know it's the truth, not just a fake.

In letting go, I found a spark—

A silent flame inside the dark.
